As a fellow audio nerd, Katie loves running the De-click plugin across an audio clip and watching the count on “clicks repaired” go up. Oh, and Bouncing that polished, finalized audio from her session – who doesn’t love a good Before/After!?! What first inspired Katie in this work was in college during an audio-only narrative group assignment in the mandatory first-year sound class. As she says, she was “not a particularly nice group member to work” with because she was so inspired to do everything herself - from writing the script to directing the vocal talent to editing the whole thing together, sound effects and all, but she still thinks the final product is a masterpiece! Outside of editing audio, Katie cannot live without songwriting!! It 100% keeps her sane and creatively fulfilled while living in the greater Toronto, Ontario region.
